Ask Damian - Fraud Prevention

As we continue our efforts to tackle fraud and prevent Dorset residents from becoming victims, we have launched a new 24/7 fraud advice telephone service.

The new service, called ‘Ask Damian’, gives residents instant access to support and guidance to help protect themselves from fraud.

It is designed to be easy to use and available at any time, and offers advice on all types of fraud, aiming to help people spot scams early and encourage simple steps to prevent financial loss.

Ask Damian can also translate into different languages, making it accessible to a wide range of people across Dorset.

The launch of the service follows a collaboration with Bridgit Care, a trusted organisation that provides resources to the NHS, charities and councils to support their communities.
